The Westin Grand Munich Hotel in Germany has completed an installation of the Panorama In-room Hotel Entertainment Platform from supplier, Acentic.

The Westin Grand Munich is an exclusive property located in Bogenhausen, with 627 guestrooms including 28 suites. And the digital TV system offers hotel guests up to 250 international digital TV channels, featuring a customisable graphical user interface (GUI).

Acentic said it was selected to provide the entertainment system at the Munich Grand based on the product's innovative features and flexibility in the implementation process, as well as Acentic's accumulated experience installing digital TV systems at luxury hotels worldwide.

Global appeal, local deployment understanding 

Throughout the installation process, the supplier worked to ensure high levels of flexibility so that, while the new system was being installed, the current systems were kept live, avoiding any service disruption to hotel guests.

The system used the hotel's existing coaxial network, and additional components include LCD TV screens, management station and information services such as hotel information, weather forecast and international news.
