New appointment targets multimedia opportunity
Nexcom announces UK new digital signage sales manager
Nexcom, manufacturer of industrial and mobile computing solutions, has appointed Paul McGuire as its UK sales manager for multimedia computing platforms.
Within this new role, Nexcom said McGuire will be charged with developing sales of Nexcom's range of multimedia computing solutions, including the NDiS range of digital signage players.
On taking up his new role, McGuire commented: "I am delighted to be taking this position within Nexcom UK Limited. Over the past 18 months, Nexcom has established itself as a leading manufacturer of digital signage hardware, whose products have been certified certification by many of the world's leading software vendors including Scala, DISE and BroadSign."
Appointment coincides with new products
"With a diverse range of products, Nexcom is able to offer truly innovative solutions at an extremely competitive price point," added McGuire.
Before taking up his new position, he previously worked for Nexcom within the Industrial Computer Solutions and Network Security Divisions.
McGuire's appointment coincides with the launch of several new digital signage platforms including the PDS 7740, which is an Intel Core 2 Quad-based digital signage player that has been specifically created for graphic intensive applications such as 2 x 2 video wall.
Also new to the Nexcom range is the NDiS 164 - an AMD Athlon 64/64 x2/Phenom II X4-based platform, which is ideal for the display of full high-definition (HD) video on multiple screens, according to the company.
